A More Realistic Speaking Class for Intermediate and Advanced Learners
In daily situations, whether in daily life or at work, conversations often happen not just one-on-one but in group settings as well. This class helps learners actively join group discussions by practicing how to speak up and engage with confidence, rather than simply listening.
About this lesson
【SC】Social Conversation is a lesson designed to help students get used to group conversations, conducted with two teachers and one student. Students practice skills such as joining fast-paced discussions and managing their flow while teachers speak at a natural speed.
When needed, the conversation is paused about every 15 minutes to provide feedback. This helps reduce the learner’s hesitation to join group conversations and teaches practical techniques for entering and guiding discussions effectively.
What you'll be able to do after taking this lesson:
Learners develop the skills to join conversations naturally without interrupting the flow and to take the lead when needed to become the center of the discussion. The goal is to help students actively participate with confidence in group settings rather than remaining on the sidelines.
Target Level
Intermediate / Advanced
This class is intended for learners who can already hold a conversation in English to some extent. If you want to enhance your speaking skill before taking this class, we recommend taking DC (Daily Conversation) or LS (Listening & Speaking) lessons.
